Heavy Equipment Operator Apprenticeship Training - Hybrid
This three-year program consists of 150 hours per year from September- April with two (2) sessions per week. This is a hybrid program with some sessions in-person and some online, requiring students to have a computer and internet access.
This industry-developed program is for a beginner or experienced operator who wants to learn the basics about what it means to work as a heavy equipment operator or enhance existing skills. Related instruction covers safety, grade reading, soils, safety, site preparation, heavy equipment maintenance and use of training simulators.
Course cost does not include textbook. Required Textbook: NCCER Heavy Equipment Operators, Revised Third Edition, Level I
