This course provides students with the skills to draw blood from a patient for clinical or medical testing, transfusions, donations, or research. Learn to become a phlebotomist through classroom theory and clinical setting. Classroom: 60 hours Clinical: 40 hours The course includes a 4 day clinical segment (Mon-Thur 8 am - 4 pm). Students will receive their clinical schedule after the first week of class. Completion of clinical is required to be eligible to sit for the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians (ASPT) exam. Students must have Immunization records at the start of the course. Textbook is included in tuition. Certification exam fee is not included in tuition. Tuesdays (in-person) & Thursdays (virtual)
