This NAVTA approved Veterinary Assistant course gives students the necessary skills for an entry-level position, with emphasis on small animal techniques. This is a hybrid course with some sessions in-person and some online, requiring students to have a computer and internet access. Students may also apply hours of related instruction towards the veterinary assistant apprenticeship program. Students are responsible for locating an externship site.
Course cost does not include exam fees and textbooks.
